:: Episode 24: Tosei Gets Off A Good One!

Summary
The episode begins with Tosei forming a huddle and agreeing on the fact that things got harder than they expected, but they'll definitely win! Mihashi, meanwhile, spends some time being dramatic before he starts pitching. He secretly disagrees with the way Abe wants him to pitch, but since he's Mihashi, he does as he is told anyway. Abe notices his slight hesitation though, and gets all ANGRY. Anyway, Jin's up first! AWW, JIN!! He hits and runs off to base one. Mihashi flails around pathetically like a Magikarp, but Abe, threatening to switch him out with Oki or Hanai, verbally manages to pull Mihashi back up. There's NO WAY Mihashi's going to let someone ELSE pitch!
So next up is Masaya, Mihashi pitches some more, and Jin runs some more, and swell times are had by all. Masaya ends up failing. It's Shingo time! Abe fools around a little and gets all angry again, but he apologizes to Mihashi for his screw-up. Mihashi is surprised! He continues to pitch, Shingo hits it, and Jin runs some more. He's now a third runner, and Aoki is up next! Things are looking bright for Tosei. Mihashi is nervous, but his teammates scream out words of encouragement to him. Mihashi throws, Aoki hits, Jin runs and... doesn't make it on time! FUNCTIONS CEASED! THE WINNERS ARE... NISHIURA!!
Nishiura happily run off to thank their cheerleaders while the big manly Toseilings break down into pathetic little sobs. Junta, now a total mess, apologizes to Kazuki. The two of them would have loved to work together more, but Kazuki is a third-year, so it's now over for him. They proceed to hug dramatically.
Outside the stadium, Nishiura and their supporters gather around to discuss what's next. Tosei strolls over to them and gives them this big ol' bouquet of paper cranes. MEANWHILE, Abe, Tajima and Shiga are somewhere nearby trying to bring a practically unconscious Mihashi back to life. Rio suddenly runs over and proclaims his love to Tajima! He gets his phone mail address thingy and says he'll mail him later. He has so many questions to ask! Abe and Tajima drag Mihashi off to his ma, and everyone drives back home and stuff.
