:: Episode 22: Abe Goes Ballistic

Summary
Inning number eight continues with Aoki failing and Kazuki swinging, hitting and getting on the base. What's-his-face (I think his name is Eugene or something) proceeds to get the same result as Kazuki, and when it's Junta's turn, Kazuki comes RUNNING back home, violently crashing into Abe, sending him flying! Well, almost. This makes Mihashi rather nervous. What if Abe were to get hurt? EITHER WAY, Tosei gets another point and takes the lead again.
Next up is Yamanoi! He swings and hits, and there's a lot of fooling around and hesitating from Mihashi before he FINALLY throws the ball back to Abe, barely avoiding giving out another point. Abe is furious - he asks for a timeout, and runs off to scream in Mihashi's face, demanding to know why he hesitated. Mihashi is too shaken up to speak properly but Tajima, being able to speak dweeb, translates what he has to say. The third runner was really tall, so he was afraid he'd hurt Abe when he returned back home! This is THE most ridiculous thing Abe has heard all day, but after shaking Mihashi around a little, he calms down. The game can continue!
And continue it does. Tosei doesn't get any more points this time around, though. Abe returns to the dugout where he tries to convince Mihashi that he wasn't REALLY angry. The two make up, and Abe strolls off to bat. Everyone's really determined to win!

Aw but I LOVED the original shot here! Tajima and Sakaeguchi were all like "Dahahaha OH MIHASHI AND ABE!!"
This seems pretty pointless! Maybe they thought Tajima looked like a mouth breather and that Sakaeguchi's chin was too pointy or SOMETHING.
All Japanese cartoon characters apparently require a mouth on the side of their face.
