Summary
The inning continues with Mihashi and Abe preventing Tosei from getting any more points. Meanwhile, Ruri has a chat with the mothers just as she receives a message from her Kano-obsessed little brother, Ryu, who's cheering for Mihoshi at the game they're playing right now. He says Kano's pitching! Isn't that swell? But back to Nishiura vs. Tosei. Nishiura still fails at getting more points and Abe, noticing that Mihashi is starting to get tired, starts getting slightly worried.
Bottom of the seventh inning! Junta bats fools around first, and it's Yamanoi's turn next. He hits and makes it to the base without even opening his eyes! Jin's next, then Masaya. This is the part when Mihashi slips and falls, losing control of the ball completely, resulting in another point for Tosei! Which MEANS, Tosei is now in the lead! Dun dun DUN!! Sakaeguchi runs off to see if Mihashi is okay, and Abe runs off to do some yelling and hand-feeling. They decide to let the batter walk. Shingo's up next, and as he bats, the bat goes flying right out of his hand! That's DANGEROUS! The Mr. Referees form a huddle to discuss whether or not they should let the match continue because of the dreaded rain.
The team returns to the dugout, where Mihashi proceeds to take a quick shower. Abe walks in on him (but not to worry, Mihashi's still wearing his clothes) and demands to do the hand holding thing again. Mihashi has no strength left! That's when Ruri suddenly barges in, exclaiming that Kano pitched and WON! We proceed to get this fantastic shot of Kano and the rest of Mihashi's old teammates, Hatake, Miyagawa, Yoshi and Hiiragi, posing victoriously. Mihashi is amazed! After Ruri gets kicked out and the team regroups and everyone points and laughs at Mihashi's lame nickname, Mihashi regains his strength. Nishiura's feeling better than ever! Will they manage to take the lead again?
