While Mihashi is feeling TOTALLY giddy, Abe and Momoe have a serious little talk. The batters definitely struck out on purpose this time around, and Momoe tells Abe that given the current circumstances, it might be for the best if they were to give Tosei one run. Ooh, spooky! It's Nishiura's turn to attack. Hanai fails, as do Oki and Mizutani and...
...hang on, what's this? We suddenly get a random Musashino scene for no reason! ALL RIIIIGHT! Akimaru tries to have a friendly conversation about the weather, and Haruna gets all snippy. Kaguyama is excited about his last high school summer tournament, but he starts getting nervous... luckily, Haruna pops up to snap him out of it!
Back to the match! The Nishiura cheering squad has an extremely dorky moment while Wolverine yells his lungs out at his useless Tosei underlings. The Toseilings tell him everything they've noticed about Nishiura, and they form a strategy to fight back. Go Tosei, GO!!
SO YEAH, it's Tosei's turn to attack and stuff. Jin hits the ball and makes a SUPER FAST run for it, naturally making it to base one. This is where the real battle starts! Jin makes it to second base, and then third... in other words, he's a THIRD RUNNER!! OH DEAR!! Mihashi, remembering the mental training involving using Third Runners as something to soothe their nerves, spookily stares at Jin before pitching. When we get to the part where it's Aoki's turn to bat, he sends the ball flying and... it kind of just... STOPS rolling! Jin starts making his way back home, but with a helpful hint from Tajima, Mihashi manages to throw the ball back to Abe just in time. Out you go, Jin!
