:: Episode 09: Abe's Angsty Past Part Two

Summary
Hang on, Abe senses something coming. It kind of feels like... a FLASHBACK!! That's right, he goes for a stroll down memory lane, showing us, the viewers, his dramatic past. We get to see the little middle school Sakaeguchiish Abe for the first time! Some old guy I shall nickname Mr. EEETOOO introduces Middle School Abe to Middle School Haruna, automatically teaming them up. Haruna is not impressed, but Abe insists on showing him his catching skillz! Haruna proceeds to practically pummel Abe with baseballs.
Scene change! Haruna meets Abe in the locker room, where he gets some good chucks from Abe's rather cartoony bruises. He smiles and pats Abe on the head, and it's implied that he's actually grateful for Abe being there, allowing him to throw as crazily as he wants.
Back to the present! Sakaeguchi gossips some more with Mihashi and Abe about Haruna. Mihashi dweebs out, Abe explodes, and Sakaeguchi tries to calm them down. Sakaeguchi thinks it's rather lame of Abe to accuse Haruna of being the worst pitcher, and Abe tries to justify his reasonings with another flashback.
We first get a quick scene with Middle School Abe and Middle School Haruna yelling at each other, followed by a MATCH! Abe begs Haruna to pitch seriosly, and is pretty close to getting down on his knees before Haruna tells him to shut up or he won't pitch AT ALL. After his 80th pitch, Haruna casually strolls off. Their team, Todakita, loses, and Abe runs off to angst. Haruna walks in on him and disapproves of his whining, which causes Abe to go ballistic, which again causes Haruna to put on his ANGRY FACE!
End flashback. Present Abe zones back in, finishing off his horrible tale with a "I never want to team up with someone like that ever again." Sakaeguchi asks if he can spread the word of what they just talked about, and Nishiura has a weird reaction for some reason...? I DON'T GET IT. Either way, Haruna decides it's time to show off, so he performs a super ultra megapitch ONCE.
Musashino wins the match! Haruna runs off to talk to Abe, but Nishiura has already left. He and Akimaru discuss Abe for a moment, and Akimaru tells us a little about a time when Haruna apparently went bonkers.
